Account Manager - Software

Our client, a leading FTSE listed company, has an immediate opening for an internally based Account Manager to join their high-performing sales function based in Bedfordshire.
As an Account Manager, you will:
Work in an internal capacity, managing a large portfolio of existing accounts
Further qualify and build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
Identify and pitch solutions, up-sell and cross-sell a growing portfolio
Make regular contact with accounts, confirm usage and identify opportunities
Work closely with a new business-focused sales team, passing warm leads
The ideal sales candidate will:
Be degree level educated
Possess 1-2 years previous sales experience (call centre, telesales, customer service etc.)
Have excellent communication skills and a high degree of computer literacy
Be a natural presenter with the self-motivation and ambition to succeed
Be excited about career progression, have a will to win and a strong desire to learn through ongoing and hands-on sales and product training
The successful sales candidate will receive a basic salary circa 23k with an uncapped OTE of 30-35k plus full benefits, training and progression opportunities. This role will initially be remotely based with a return to the office at some point in the future.
