As a leading publisher, our client is renowned world-wide for publishing a series of e-journals specialising in 16 different pharmaceutical/medical/therapeutic areas. They currently reach over half a million subscribers globally. Through the use of product reviews, symposium reviews, e-newsletters and adverts, they help companies market products and services to an ever-growing global audience of relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical professionals. 6 years on from the release of their first publication, they continue to grow and are currently looking to hire Media Sales Executives with or without media sales experience.
As a Media Sales Executive, you will:
- Join a growing team based in London, surrounded by consistent overachievers, with a fantastic team culture that places a high value on personal development and individual success
- Achieve and exceed revenue sales targets, through the generation of opportunities and closing of deals with new clients, taking full advantage of the uncapped commission structure
- Capitalise on a variety of progression opportunities throughout the business, as the company continues to grow aggressively
- Develop sales opportunities, and follow through to close, via cold calling, networking, online marketing etc.
- Develop and apply a consultative and research-led approach to selling on a daily basis
- Perform consistent market research, in order to become an expert in your field, and be able to communicate an understanding of the relevant industries to clients
- Be educated to degree level
- Be intelligent, inquisitive and possess 1-2 years previous consultative, new business B2B sales experience (media, information, medical, technology, life science, pharma, healthcare, recruitment etc.)
- Possess business acumen, motivation and a dynamic yet professional approach to new business sales
- Have first-class communication and presentation skills and the ability to develop stakeholder relationships on a global scale
- Be an outgoing, jovial individual with a good sense of humour
- A negotiable base salary of 25-35k
- A first-year achievable OTE of 50-65k
