Our client is a respected firm focused on specialist innovation funding. More specifically, they lead the way in the optimisation of R&D tax credits and R&D grants. Through their understanding of the complexity of regulations, they deliver a quality service with measurable benefits, on a global scale, to every business sector. They now have an exciting and rare opening for an SDR Team Leader to lead a performing sales team.
As a London based SDR Team Leader, you will:
- Lead a team of 12 SDR’s based in the UK
- Grow and manage the team through KPI development, 1-2-1s and regular sales coaching
- Optimise pipeline and revenue creation opportunities
- Purely manage new business sales. Telephone-based appointment setting
- Work closely with senior management on developing and delivering sales strategy
- In this classic, hands-on sales leadership role, cover all aspects from planning to sales training, recruitment, pipeline management, reporting and so much more
- Run regular incentives
- Take on and run ad hoc projects (as required)
- Possess 2+ years’ sales leadership experience (SDR level)
- Be a natural communicator, leader and motivator
- Demonstrate experience in managing fresh graduates and sales trainees
- Be an inspirational Player-Manager, a leader who teams perform for and a coach/mentor to professionals at varying levels
- Have a demonstrable background in new business appointment setting
- Be tenacious, highly motivated and have first-class communication and presentation skills
- Communicate and manage effectively at all levels
- A base salary circa 35-40k
- An uncapped OTE of 50-75k
